The school has 62 pupils and this year also includes a first grade primary class of 12 children aged 6 years.















The children like to draw and write their numbers.














Uniforms are very inportant in Peru and the pupils have green and check aprons which protect their clothes and make everyone equal in terms of clothing and appearance.














In July all schools are busy with parades and activities in celebration of the Peruvian National Independence Day, 28th July. Classes are decorated with red and white, the colours of the national flag.

Activities in the Month of December 2005

Activities:
Christmas lunch: On the 21st December they prepared a special lunch and the children all had ice creams

‘Chocolatada’ & end of term prizegiving : this was held on the 22nd December at 4pm. The children presented an ‘Andian’ style nativity with traditional costumes and elements. Each classs also presented songs and artistic presentation such as poems, At the end of the event the children shared in the traditional Christmas hot chocolate and panteón with each child receiving a small gift.

There was also a promotional celebration on 17th December for those 5 years old leaving the nursery this year. The God parents of the promotion gave gifts of a cake and necklaces and there was a show with clowns.
